European Hare in Silverbelly

This was definitwly a challenging hat to make. I had never seen this shape before until Jeff Biggars (Biggar Hats) starting making them a few years ago. I believe it's based off of an old shape from the 40s, but I really couldn't find any info or old pictures of it.

Anyway, I did my best to build it based off of the few pics I had access to.

Added a touch of distressing to it and a 3-ply ribbon to finish it off.

100X Custom in Pecan

Shaped this up with the dropped, wide cattleman with a mule kick.

I personally love the 3.5" brim with a decent lift. Makes for a great profile.

I made the band out of some old leather from a saddle bag. Hand stamped the turquoise/copper and it was good to go!

Custom Rebuild
Took this banger from an off the shelf Open Road to a custom teardrop banger.

Added a touch of Earth pigment distressing to give a nice worn in look. Hand stamped and dyed the leather band and worked in the turquoise and bull skull accent. This is a great poker playing hat.

European Hare in Cardinal Red

This was a fun one! When Keith hit me up and asked for a coffin crown with a skull and a nice wide brim in Cardinal Red, I was like, heck yeah. Let's do it! This is such a bold color and so much fun to work with.

For the band we went with bandana fabric and python leather. Worked in some feathers, cards, and skull beads to finish it off.

Hit me up if you're ready to start your custom hat. I'm currently around 6-8 weeks out on customs.
