The 2026 Canby Rodeo Association scholarship in recognition of Doc Harms, Bob Traverso & Don Carpenter has been awarded to Kindra Slagle. Kindra is a 2026 graduate of Canby High School and plans on studying medical imaging through the Oregon Institute of Technology next year. Kindra is extremely passionate about livestock, and through showing her pigs and cattle, she has learned so much from being in the agricultural community.

Congratulations to our 2025 Queen Naomi on being named First Runner-Up at the 2027 Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant, and winner of the Horsemanship category! We couldn't be more proud of you. Your hard work, dedication, grace, and love for the sport of rodeo have been evident every step of this journey. We know this is only the beginning of many incredible opportunities ahead.

Job well done on this amazing accomplishment, Naomi, and also to the rest of the competitors and the newly crowned 2027 Miss Rodeo Oregon title holders!

Please help us wish our 2025 Queen Naomi the very best of luck at the Miss Rodeo Oregon Inc. Foundation pageant this week held during The Elgin Stampede as she competes for the title of 2027 Miss Rodeo Oregon! We couldn't be more proud of you & will be cheering you on every step of the way!

This week, our 2025 Queen, Naomi, heads to Elgin to compete for the title of Miss Rodeo Oregon, and we couldn’t be more proud.

It has been such a privilege to watch Naomi’s journey. Throughout her reign with the Clackamas County Fair & Canby Rodeo Court Program, she stayed true to herself, never losing sight of her love for America’s Mustangs or the values that make her who she is. She embraced every opportunity to be coached, welcomed new challenges, and continually pushed herself to grow—both as a rodeo queen and as a person.

We’ve also loved watching her continue to represent professional rodeo this year as the 2026 Sisters Rodeo Queen. Her passion for the western way of life, dedication to serving others, and commitment to always learning make her an incredible ambassador for our sport.

Naomi, we are so excited to see all of your hard work, preparation, and dedication on display this week at the Miss Rodeo Oregon Pageant. No matter the outcome, we know you’ll represent yourself, your community, and the sport of rodeo with authenticity, grace, and heart.
