I designed the wardrobe these guys are tearing one another apart in. I’m honestly shocked they haven’t blown a crotch or torn through a seat yet. But hey, the better you dress, the worse you can behave.

Marrying tailoring with sportswear is the epitome of F.E. Castleberry. If and when you decide to take the pitch, God is in the details.

Boxy shirt.
Adidas shorts.
Can’t lose.

THE SHIRT: The length of the shirt matters. Keep it on the shorter side. When you opt for a made-to-measure shirt with me ($425), we can nail the perfect length and stripe.

THE SHORT: Not any old soccer short will do. It should look and feel expensive, even if it only costs $75. Adidas, the brand with the three stripes, are my favorite. If you get this wrong, the entire operation goes sideways. Hard red card.

THE SOCK: Ivory is the only answer. Keep it simple. If you do decide to wear a sport sock, match the brand to the shorts. I wear pointelle socks everyday…the pointelle sock, for me, signals a level of intention most men cannot even begin to fathom.

THE SHOE: Horsebit and penny loafers only. Black feels more luxurious in the city.

P.s. Do not skip leg day.

The brown plaid summer tweed blazer is cut in an English silk/linen/wool cloth, trimmed in leather knotted buttons, suede elbow patches, half lined for even more breathability, and available made-to-measure.

Dress it down with selvedge Levi’s or Adidas soccer shorts and you can wear it all summer well into autumn. DM to schedule a fitting.
