Final Day Overland Expo PNW. Let's talk rear bumpers. Buckstop offers a wide variety of rear bumpers that includes standard HD replacements to integrated towing models to full spare tire and storage box carriers. Applications span many trucks and vans from current years all the way back to the 1960's.

The first two pictures show our "RV" style rear bumper that are custom made to match box/habitat width and location in the frame. The two examples on Globe Trekker Inc Zero Torsion subframe cutaway E-series vans. Number two on Field Van Inc | Custom Vans

Next we show two examples of pick-up bumpers with Four Wheel Pop-Up Truck Campers . These bumpers replace the OE tow hitch and increase ground clearance by 3". They feature one-hand open and slam-shut latching. The swing-outs operate just like a car door - no extra locks, no complicated unlocking. Spare tire options to 40" diameter. Storage Boxes include interior shelf and top rack.

Finally, our Buckstop HD replacement bumper. This is three times thicker than stock and withstands impacts that would otherwise damage the original. Nice lines and color matching are a great compliment to the front bumper making the overall look of the truck complete.

- F350 Single Wheel Conversion - 41x14.50 LT tires, 3.5" suspension lift, Wildland Active Electronic Suspension, new Paragon model bumper. Stance is nearly identical to F450 and 550.

- F450 Single Wheel Conversion - Petlas 41" MPT tires, 3.5" suspension lift, Wildland Active Electronic Suspension, Outback model bumper. Buckstop flatbed with spare tire and upper and lower boxes.

- Ram 5500 Single Wheel Conversion - 43" Michelin tires, 3.5" suspension lift, coil-over front Wildland Active Electronic Suspension, TrailReady BOSS LED bumper. This is the torture test truck from Trail Hero Expedition in early May.

There is a moment in the shop when a build stops being raw material and starts being something. You can see it before it is finished. The lines are right. The fit is right. The weight is where it needs to be.

That does not happen by accident. It happens because the people building it have been doing this long enough to know the difference.

Everything Buckstop makes is engineered and built in-house. Oregon and Texas. That is not a talking point. That is just how we have always done it.

The LiquidSpring system adjusts to load, speed, road conditions, steering, and braking in real time. That same technology is on 97% of Type 1 ambulances in the United States. LiquidSpring holds 15 patents and has outfitted over 20,000 vehicles.

They came to Buckstop to co-develop the application for single wheel conversion trucks. That tells you something about where the engineering standard is.
