🤔 You Ask, We Answer Thursday: Street Sale Edition 🤔

Our official start time is 8:00 AM tomorrow morning, but if we're set up and ready before then, we'll start serving customers early! The early bird definitely gets the best selection, so don't be afraid to arrive ahead of 8.

We'll be open all day until 9:00 PM, so there's plenty of time to shop.

And if you're planning to spend the evening downtown, stick around for Friday Night Live from 6:00–9:00 PM! Enjoy live music, entertainment, and the fun atmosphere while taking advantage of Street Sale happening throughout the day.

👣 Fit Check Wednesday: Street Sale Edition 👣

If you need help finding your perfect fit, come in before Street Sale!

During Street Sale, our team is focused on keeping the checkout lines moving, so we won't be able to measure feet or provide our usual fitting service. We'll have Brannock devices available if you'd like to check your size, but our staff won't be able to assist with fittings.

If you stop by before Street Sale, we'd be happy to measure your feet, recommend styles, and help you find the right fit. Then, when the sale starts this Friday, you'll know exactly what sizes to look for and can shop with confidence.

👀 What We're Seeing: A Promising Forecast for Street Sale! 👀

Looking ahead to Street Sale on Friday, August 7, the forecast is calling for sunny skies with highs in the 80s—perfect conditions for a day of savings and fun!

One simple tip we recommend for everyone attending: wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a brimmed hat. With the event now spanning three blocks and featuring many participating businesses, there's plenty to explore. You'll likely be spending quite a bit of time in the sun, so it's a good idea to protect yourself from those rays.

Thinking about switching to a more cushioned shoe? 👟 It isn't just about comfort. Your choice should match your training, your body's needs, and the condition of your current shoes.

🏃‍♀️ If you're increasing your mileage, training/working on hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt, or looking for a softer option on recovery days, a higher-cushioned shoe may help reduce repetitive impact.

👣 Your body can also provide clues. New or recurring aches in your heels, knees, ankles, or lower back, or returning to activity after an injury, may be signs that you could benefit from additional cushioning.

👟 Don't forget to check the age of your shoes. Most running and walking shoes begin to lose their shock-absorbing ability after 300–500 miles. Even if the outsole still looks good, midsoles can compress over time and no longer provide the support and comfort they once did.
