For more than 20 years, Mary was a familiar and beloved presence at Run Calgary events as a lead and tail cyclist. Her steady presence at the front and unwavering support at the back ensured thousands of participants felt confident, cared for, and never alone on course. Mary will be deeply missed and forever remembered at our start line.

Mahdi has created a deeply diverse and connected community that reflects Calgary itself, bringing together newcomers and long-time residents in a supportive, judgment-free environment. Mahdi has grown the PRT community to 450 members, creating an inclusive space for runners of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.
