Sometimes people ask me about the story behind POEMET, and I realize the story is still unfolding.
My name is Michal, and I am the founder and designer behind POEMET. These days I am deep in the process of creating a new collection. My studio is full of sketches, fabrics, thoughts, doubts, and excitement, all the beautiful chaos that comes with bringing something new into the world.
At the same time, it feels impossible to ignore everything happening around us in the world. Some days it feels overwhelming. And maybe because of that, the act of creating becomes even more meaningful.
Through POEMET, I try to focus on making a world that is a little more beautiful, a little softer, a little more joyful.
Especially now, I am reminded of the strength and importance of women who continue to create, nurture, lead, and bring light into the world, even in uncertain times.
I truly believe that the energy we create carries forward. That freedom, imagination, and hope can travel through design, through fabric, through the things we choose to make and share.
Now I am holding POEMET’s bags, and I cannot wait to show you what is coming next!
This process is very bare and exposed for me. It is personal, sometimes vulnerable, but also deeply therapeutic. Every design holds a small piece of that journey.
