50 years in business means we’ve been lucky enough to be part of a LOT of weddings.

Heads up, Portland! Portland General Electric has scheduled a power outage for our Portland location on Thursday from 8AM to 12PM.

The good news? We’ll still be opening at 11:00 AM as scheduled🤗

Hi! I’m Pam, owner of Mr. Formal in Beaverton, Portland, Salem, and Vancouver.

50 years ago, Mr. Formal was founded by the original owner, Ed. I was fortunate enough to join the company as a stylist, helping customers find the right look for some of life’s biggest moments. Over the years, I became a store manager, then a regional manager, and when Ed decided it was time to retire, I was honored to carry on the legacy as the new owner.

I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of grooms, wedding parties, prom-goers, and families celebrate some of the biggest milestones in their lives. Even today, you’ll still find me working on the sales floor with my team at our Portland location most weeks. I never wanted to be an owner who stayed behind a desk. I genuinely enjoy meeting our customers, getting to know them, and helping them feel confident for their big day.

This year, as we celebrate 50 years in business, I’ve been reflecting on what has made Mr. Formal special for so long. It’s the relationships we’ve built, the trust our customers place in us, and the incredible support we’ve received from our community.
