A little example of sizing and how sometimes multiple sizes can work for one body and depends on what kind of fit you are wanting! My personal measurements land me in the Medium on my size chart but my bust and waist are on the lower end of the medium and just above the small so here’s an example of how that plays out fit wise with the Emily T-shirt dress which is intended to be a loosey goosey outside pajamas kind of dress as you see with how the Medium fits me, or if your measurements are kind of on the edge of two sizes you can size down like I did here to the size small and have a slimmer fit thats not ‘tight’ but definitely more body conscious.
Okay hopefully that was interesting to someone! 🤣

When your fit model has her own fabric she wants the garment made in! 😍🥰
Claire being sweet and fit testing the new apron dress for me but also this is such a tease because she got this fabric in Japan and no one else will be able to have the dress in this super fun print! BUT this apron dress style will be launching at the Body Positive Block Party in a few weeks! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Now everyone tell Claire she should have gotten more of this fabric so we could all have adorable banana dresses!

This month’s non-profit we’re giving back to is to help them in their important work. This organization is a native led non-profit focused on ending gender based violence in tribal communities. They offer culturally specific assistance in the form of technical support, policy work and trainings. Their ultimate goal is to support the sovereignty of tribes in developing their own preventative programs for gender based violence and s*x trafficking. I think we would all do well to lend them whatever support we can. ❤️

June roundup of outfits and I feel like I wore even more handmade items than usual which is fun! Did a ton of sewing for in person events and finished knitting myself another sweater that I love 😍

A little throwback and a thank you to everyone who came by and said hi and got goodies and was generally just very cute at 🎉 I finished up the market day, went home and unpacked, then drove to the airport and picked up my father in law for his first ever visit to Portland and have been head down in family/hosting adventures since so now it’s been over a week and I’m just coming up for air! 🤣
Now I’m going to start finishing the pattern for the new tie front top and prepping for my next market!

The Haley midi! My favorite easy throw on, it’s a whole ass outfit without anything else being needed…..maybe wear shoes? 🤣 I just finished up a couple new Haley’s in some new fabrics that you can see irl at events this summer! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Okay I’ve made a few versions of this tie front shirt for myself and a few people agave expressed interest in them but before I go ahead and spend a bunch of time grading and testing my pattern in all the sizes I offer(this is made from a woven and therefor the garment is nonstretch and different from my typical stretchy garment patterning)
